Kerala Box Office Update (2.4.23)
1. John Wick Chapter 4 - 3.92 Cr (10 days Kerala)
Despite the new wave of releases, John Wick held its top spot at Kerala box office adding around 28 lakhs on its second Saturday, which is a great number for a Hollywood movie considering it is a non-superhero movie. It has four more days to itself before the Easter releases arrive and thus it looks to easily go past 4.5 Cr.

2. Viduthalai Part 1 - 0.32 Cr (2 days Kerala)
It has taken a decent start in Kerala considering its genre having one of the best average occupancy among the new releases. But a 1 Cr gross still looks tough with the Easter releases arriving next week. It is a better start than most of the star studded Tamil movies that have tanked at the Kerala box office post pandemic.

3. Dasara - 0.34 Cr (3 days Kerala)
Despite having a blockbuster start in Telugu states and the presence of many Malayalam stars, it has taken a lukewarm start in Kerala. Nani is not a big star in Kerala to draw the audiences and thus Dasara will struggle to get past 75 lakhs.

4. Kallanum Bhagavathiyum - 0.23 Cr (2 days)
Although it couldn't get into the top 3, it is the best performing Malayalam release. But this slow start won't be enough to get to the other side. Another movie that could end up under 1 Cr.

It never got going in Kerala and with Viduthalai arriving, it has taken a backseat and has no chance of getting past 75 lakhs. Another big Tamil film that failed in Kerala.

6. Romancham - 68.88 Cr (58 days)
The surprise blockbuster is still continuing in a good number of screens in its ninth week adding decent amounts to its kitty each day and this could be the last week in theatres with its digital release next week. It will finish around 42 Cr in Kerala and that willbe the target for other biggies arriving later this year.

7. Higuita - 0.12 Cr (2 days)
Will be washed out within a week.
